Weekly or every-other-week mowing on a fixed day. We change cut height by season — higher in the July heat so the Bermuda holds moisture, a touch lower in spring. Edged at every visit, sidewalks and drives blown back clean before we leave the property.

San Antonio doesn’t do real fall — but the live oaks shed in spring and after every cold front. We clear leaves, sticks, and the tarp-load of catkins out of the lawn, beds, and gutters from the ground, then haul it off.

Bulk-delivered mulch (or bagged, your call), hand-spread to a consistent 2 to 3 inches around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it.
